In this post you’ll learn how to make this super simple DIY plant gift that is perfect for anyone on your list; from mom, friend to coworker or child’s teacher.
This air plant display DIY is so easy, you’ll be done in less than 5 minutes and depending on the base you choose, can be as little as $10!
What you’ll need:
- Wire– 8-16 gauge depending on the look you want. The bigger the number thinner the wire. For this post, I’m using 8 gauge.
- Garden rock, pebble or if you want to spruce it up, you can make this with a semi-precious stone or crystal.
- Air plant– any you like from your local plant shop.
- Wire Cutter
How to do it:
- You will want to cut a piece of wire about double the size of height you want.
- Wrap the wire around the rock, pebble or stone twice and twist the excess upward.
- Use the remainder of the wire to twist in a cyclone shape, this is what will hold/cradle the plant.
- Cut off any excess wire
- And you’re done!
